Galway East is one of 14 constituencies which has had its voter turnout in May's General election called into questionThe constituencies are showing unexplained record turnouts, leading to concerns over possible fraudThe turnout figure being investigated is not the ACTUAL turnout, but one adjusted based on the assumption that 85 per cent of adults are on the registerIt's an internationally accepted formula in analysing voting patterns, and places Galway East with the fifth highest turnout in Ireland at just under 95 per centThe Sunday Tribune article says while the figures don't add up, it still may not point to electoral fraud, but should be investigated
