Further delay with removal of hoarding from Dock Road
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Hoarding on the Dock Road is to be removed within the next two weeks, missing another deadline as the project team had set today as the date for removal
The panelling has imposed a one-lane restriction at the city centre location.
It has been in place for some time now to facilitate works at the Solas Picture Palace which is due to open its doors in May next year.
A spokesperson for the project team says the hoarding will be removed by the end of this week or the following week at the latest.
The old two way system will then be reinstated after years of project setbacks and delays.
