FUNDING APPROVED TO UPGRADE WATER SUPPLY IN GORT

Gort is to have its water treatment plant upgraded now that the Environment Minister, John Gormley has given the go-ahead.Funding of more than 600 thousand euro has been approved for the scheme.The proposed works, which are estimated to cost three quarters of a million euro, will provide Gort with a quality water supply.
