FORMER TUAM BARBER ESCAPES JAIL BY RETURNING TO UK

A former Tuam barber has avoided a two-month prison sentence by returning home to England.

31 year old Alexander Haddad, with a former rental address at Dublin Road, Tuam, had received the sentence plus a €250 fine at Tuam District Court earlier this year for being drunk in public and for breaching the peace following an incident at College Green, Dunmore Road, Tuam, on June 13th.
