FINE GAEL LEADER MEETS BUSINESSPEOPLE IN GALWAY

Fine Gael leader, Enda Kenny, is in Galway city this morning to meet business people to discuss plans for economic recovery.

Deputy Kenny is joined by the Fine Gael economic team, which includes Richard Bruton, George Lee and Leo Varadkar.

Fine Gael will outline the party's policy approach to the current economic crisis, at the meeting in the Menlo Park Hotel this morning.

They will also focus on job creation and sustainment and business leaders will have a chance to offer their views on economic recovery.

It comes ahead of an initiative being launched in the city this morning to promote local business.

Over 40 independent retailers in Galway have come together to ask consumers to support locally owned businesses.
