FAILED GALWAY ELECTION CANDIDATE ESCAPES PROSECUTION

An Independent election candidate in Galway West has escaped prosecution for failing to declare his election donations and expenses. Chief Superintendent in Galway Donal O'Cualain is recommending no prosecution be initiated against Thomas King of Kiltulla, Oranmore.
