Eyre Square Centre could get facelift
Galway Bay fm newsroom - The Eyre Square Centre in the city could be set for a facelift.
The Receivers for Shancar have applied for planning permission to demolish the existing entrance, including the former Bureau de Change adjacent to No.
19 Eyre Square.
It's proposed to build a new entrance building for the Eyre Square Centre - 3storeys high with a screened rooftop plant area.
It'll accommodate 5 retail units and a cafe/restaurant with deck area at the first floor.
A decision is expected on the plans for the Eyre Square Shopping Centre in September.
