Extension on Lawrencetown retail and residential development refused by County Planners

Galway Bay fm newsroom – An application to extend planning permission previously granted for a new funeral home and other facilities in Lawrencetown has been turned down. PDJ Construction Limited was previously granted permission to demolish a shop, house and sheds to make way for a new shop, creche, funeral home and apartments. This permission expired and the firm sought an extension with a view to begin work in March next year. County planners have refused the application.
