DELAY IN BUILDING LOUGHREA SWIMMING POOL

Preperations for the building of a new swimming pool in Loughrea cannot proceed further until legal matters are clarified.Kevin Kelly from the Galway County Council Management team gave this information at the Council Meeting this week saying these matters relate to the link-up between the private and public sector.However he said a substantial grant would be available from the Department of Arts, Sports and Tourism for the project.
