DANGEROUS CITY MAN REMANDED TO CENTRAL MENTAL HOSPITAL

A 29 year old city man deemed extremely dangerous has been remanded to the Central Mental Hospital in Dundrum as he's currently unfit to stand trial for assault. Richard Donnelly of 7 Snipe Lawn, Newcastle, is charged with committing or appearing to be about to commit, an assault in the course of a row by producing a kitchen knife at the same address on May 10th. He's also charged with assaulting Vance Deacy causing him harm at the same address on the same date.
