CUSTODY REMAND FOR THREE MEN OVER FOILED CITY ROBBERY

Three city men have been remanded in custody following a foiled raid at an electrical store in the city.

32 year old Johnny King of 18 Gael Carraig, Newcastle, 25 year old Dean Spellman of 6 Santa Mariapark, Monivea road and 27 year old Patrick Flaherty of 202 CastlePark Ballybane appeared before Galway district court this morning.

The three were charged under Section 4 of the Theft Offences Act, for their part in the robbery of a safe from DID electrical in Ballybrit yesterday.
