COUNTY COUNCIL TO BORROW A MILLION EURO FOR HOUSING

Galway County Council is to borrow 1.37 million euro to buy land for social and affordable housing.At a meeting of the Council today [15/12], councillors agreed to allow the Council seek the money from the Housing Finance Agency Plc.The money will be used to buy land in Kinvara, Ros a Mhil, Leitirmullen and Loughrea.
