COUNTY COUNCIL PROVIDES NO AFFORDABLE HOMES IN FIRST QUARTER

Galway county council hasn't provided any affordable housing in the first quarter of this year according to the Government's latest quarterly housing bulletinIt reveals no affordable homes were provided and none were in progress or proposed in the county between January and March of this year. The city council appears to be doing more to provide affordable homes than the county council according to the latest housing statistics. Despite the fact that the city council didn't provide any affordable homes in the first three months of this year, it does have 30 affordable homes in progress and 25 more proposed for the city. The county council had none in the pipeline by the end of March this year.
