COUNCILLOR WELCOMES FUNDING FOR PROM SWIM

This summers Salthill Prom Swim will be a significant and prestigious sporting event which will hopefully create a large amount of business in Salthill.That's according to local councillor John Connolly who's welcoming the city councils decision to provide financial support for the SwimThe event is being organised by Swim Ireland and the Corrib Swimming and Water Polo club and will take place on the 12th of July beginning at Grattan Rd and concluding at Blackrock.The city council is contributing 5000 euro towards the cost of the swim and will assist the organisers with the logistics and promotion of the event.
