CORRUNDULLA ROAD SAFETY TO BE MONITORED

Safety-conscious residents of Corrundulla are one step closer to getting the speed limit outside their local national school reduced.They've persuaded Galway County council senior engineer Martin Lavelle to install a traffic counter at Corrundulla National School in the New Year to monitor traffic levels in the area. Parents and residents have been campaigning for a pedestrian crossing for both the school and an upcoming resource centre in Corrundulla.
