CONNEMARA GP AMONG TOP TEN FOR MEDICAL CARD PAYMENTS

A Connemara GP is among the top ten earners for payments from the state.Dr. Michael Casey from Carna earned over 660 thousand euro in fees from medical card reimbursements and payment for practice support.Dr Casey receieved just over 604 thousand euro in medical card payments from the state.He also received just over 62 thousand euro for practice support.According to today's STAR newspaper, that ranks Dr Michael Casey seventh in a list of the top ten GP earners nationwide for medical card payments.The figures were released in the General Medical Services scheme report.
