Colleges to be approached about possible Tuam campus
Galway bay fm newsroom - A Tuam Town Councillor has called for one of the faculties of the Galway-Mayo Institude of Technology to be located in the town.
Former Mayor Cllr Mary Loftus put forward the proposal at this week’s meeting of the town council.
Director of Services Frank Gilmore suggested that the town board write to both NUIG and GMIT and see what their attitude would be regarding having an outreach facility in Tuam.
