A one day course on how to meet standards for long term residential care is taking place in Claregalway today.Nursing Homes Ireland is hosting the event to prepare all of those working in long term residential care to meet the new national quality standards and inspection regime.The new standards ensure that all home care services for older people will be subject to independent registration and inspection.The information day is getting underway at the Claregalway Hotel at 9am.
