CITY HOMEOWNERS WARNED OF BOGUS TRADESMEN

City homeowners are being warned to remain vigilant following reports of bogus tradesmen in the area.Gardaí are investigating a number of complaints from residents in Shantalla, who say that money is being handed over to tradesmen who leave without carrying out work.It's understood the bogus tradesmen are from the Carlow area.Gardaí are also investigating a number of reports of people calling to homes posing as pension officers, in an attempt to gain access.
