CITY COUNCIL TAKE MEASURES TO EASE PARKING PROBLEM AT LURGAN PARK

Date Published: 03-Dec-2008

There's good news for residents of Lurgan Park in the city as measures have been taken to combat the long standing parking problems at the entrance to the estate. For several weeks, there had been a growing number of cars parking along both sides of the road going down into the estate, making it dangerous for local residents and road users in the area. But City Council are now installing double yellow lines from the roundabout right down in to the estate. They will run down to the entrance of Gleann Rua on the left hand side and about 25 yards past the entrance to Murrough on the right.
