City community groups to kickstart discussion on local elections
Galway Bay fm newsroom - Up to 250 members, who represent a network of community organisations, will gather for a meeting of Galway City Community Forum this week.
(12/09)The gathering will kick start the discussion on next year's local elections, and create opportunities for potential candidates to come meet with the forum.Attendees will also hear a report on a meeting recently held with the new city manager Brendan McGrath.The meeting takes place in Jigsaw at 7 o'clock tomorrow evening.Co-ordinator of Galway City Community Forum Ann Irwin says local government reform will also be debated.
