ALMOST €250K EXPENSES TO GALWAY SENATORS

Galway's three senators were paid almost a quarter of a million euro between them in expenses and allowances since the 2007 General Election.The highest sum went to Fine Gael's Fidelma Healy-Eames from Oranmore with a total of €108,000, according to today's Irish Independent.Ciaran Cannon from Carrabane Athenry received just over €79,000 while the NUI senator for Galway, Ronan Mullen got €44,000.
