Almost 14 million insurance payments outstanding at GUH
Almost 14 million euro is oustanding at the Galway University Hospital Group from unclaimed private health insurance.
One consultant is responsible for over 290 thousand euro.
The money is not being released because consultants have failed to submit claims forms.
The figures were revealed at last evening's meeting of the Regional Health Forum in response to a query from Cllr Padraig Conneely.
