60 percent increase in Galway new car sales

Galway Bay fm newsroom - New car sales in Galway increased by 62 percent last month.Figures provided by the Society of the Irish Motoring Industry show that 405 cars were sold last month, compared to 156 in July 2012.Nationally, more than 11 thousand 500 cars were sold in July - in the best July since the onset of the recession in 2008.It follows the introduction of the 132 number plate system.
