Youth Orchestra holds auditions
Galway Youth Orchestra will hold auditions for new members on Saturday, May 18, from 10am-12.30pm.
String, woodwind, brass and percussion players from Beginner to Advanced levels are welcome to audition. GYO has three different level orchestral groups and a Jazz Orchestra, which is open to young musicians aged 8-18.
Rehearsals for the 38th season of GYO will resume on Saturday September 15.
The orchestra has a number of instruments which it makes available to young people who are interested in learning them. If you would like to play a double bass, cello, viola, oboe, bassoon or French horn, these can be made available. For further information on instruments and to book an audition time contact the Administrator by phone on 087 2614357 or email [email protected].
