Extra gig added as popular duo All Tvvins return to Galway

The band are bassist and lead singer Conor Adams, with Lar Kaye providing a real live presence electric guitar. In the studio the band add synths and loops to make riveting rock music. Their self-titled debut album was one of last year’s highlights, and provided a raft of popular singles. Darkest Ocean is a particular gem that has become part of many highlight reels on sports shows.

All Tvvins was recorded in ten different studios, with four different producers, yet it sounds remarkably cohesive. Lar puts this down to the involvement of Mark Schwarz, who oversaw much of the album’s creation.

“He mixed most of the record and we spent the most time with him,” he says. “He gave us a lot of love and he went out of his way to work on the songs. He’s just a cool dude, we’re pretty close to him now and we keep in contact.”

Fans can expect to hear some new material, with Conor and Lar readying their second album for release next year. Their recent Anything suggests they’re moving in a more electronic direction, but with that ear for hooks still intact.
