Singer-songwriter Brí has only been releasing music since 2019 – but, in that time, she has built up a catalogue of performances at venues and events like Whelan's Ones to Watch, The Ruby Sessions, The Sound House and Spirit Store.  Having generated considerable momentum with five indie-pop singles, she is now set to realise a long-held ambition in releasing Hide – a ten-track debut album that brims with an enviable flow and consistency.

The final single from that album, In My Head, has been announced for September 9 and the album itself will enter the world on October 22.

While Brí suggests some might find it too early in a career to release a full-length LP, it is a landmark that she has craved for years. The songs themselves are a blend of old and new material but the texture and fluidity of the sound likely comes from the period in which they were recorded.

“Some of the songs date back to college days so maybe 2013,” Brí recalls. “Some of them were written in the last couple of years but recording-wise, they were all done since 2019. Eight out of ten of the tracks were recorded by me at home.
