Shop Street, Galway will be livelier than ever this Friday with a feast of singing, dancing and Ukelele music and trad – all helping to raise funds for an orphanage that is well over 9,000 miles away.
There is no funding in place to maintain the trial run of the 6.50am train from Athenry to Galway beyond August – or to establish the long-promised new bus service between Athenry and Galway.
