Galway maintained their recent winning run over Offaly with a comfortable eleven point victory in round two of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship in Pearse Stadium last weekend.
Although Offaly reduced the gap to four points on 55 minutes, the Tribesmen finished with a flourish and goals late on from Conor Cooney and Rory Burke sealed a second victory of the Leinster SHC campaign for the men in maroon and white.
Afterwards, manager Micheál Donoghue gave his reaction to the victory (watch the video above).
With no matches this coming weekend, Galway’s next fixture will be a trip to Cedral St Conleths Park in Newbridge for a clash against Kildare.
That match takes place on Saturday May 9th with a 3.30pm throw-in.
