Galway manager Micheal Donoghue issues injury update on Rory Burke

GALWAY senior hurling manager Micheal Donoghue has issued an injury update on Rory Burke ahead of this Sunday’s All-Ireland final showdown with Limerick.
Rory Burke limped off with a hamstring injury in Galway’s win over Dublin in the Leinster Senior Hurling final. Burke also missed the Tribesmen’s win over Cork in the All-Ireland semi-final through injury.
“Everyone knows it’s a hamstring injury. He’s working really hard with the medical team. It’s just time and see how the next two weeks go for him,” said Micheal Donoghue at Galway’s media day ahead of the All-Ireland final in Loughgeorge last Monday.
The Oranmore Maree clubman has been on target with 4-8 from play during Galway’s championship campaign and he has enjoyed a breakout season in the maroon and white jersey. His return from injury would be a significant boost for Galway this weekend.
