WOMAN STILL HELD IN OUGHTERARD MURDER INVESTIGATION

Gardaí in Galway are continuing to hold a woman in her 30s, in connection with the murder of teacher and publican John Kenny in Oughterard last month.[25/9]
Last night Gardaí at Millstreet extended her period of detention.
It comes after two others being held, a 17-year-old boy and a man in his 30s, were yesterday evening released without charge.
A file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
