The Westdoc out-of-hours GP service is back to normal this morning after its telephone lines were cut in last night's downpours. The Liosban call centre for Westdoc was forced to close after it was hit by flash flooding around 6 pm. A spokesperson for Westdoc has confirmed to Galway Bay FM news this morning that the service has resumed as normal and people can now call 1850 365 000. They've also added an extra number for patients to call, 091 77 50 37, for today only.
