Galway's high temperatures return but Met Eireann forecast 'sharp' weather change

Enjoy it while it lasts because after Ladies Day at Galway Races it is going to take a turn say Met Eireann
Met Eireann is forecasting high temperatures again for Galway but has warned that a “sharp” weather change will hit across Friday.
Thursday will be a brighter and fresher day with spells of sunshine being met with scattered showers across the west.
Temperatures will still hit maximums of 22C according to Met Eireann which will be music to the ears of anyone heading to the Races for Ladies Day.
Thursday night will stay dry with clear spells as temperatures drop to 7C with odd scattered showers.
Here’s what Met Eireann is forecasting for Friday and over the weekend as that “sharp” change hits:
Tomorrow: “Friday will be a bright day with scattered showers spreading across the country from the west. The odd sharp shower is possible in Ulster but they will ease by evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 21 degrees, warmest in the south and southeast, with light southwesterly winds increasing moderate westerly through the day.
Friday night: “Mostly dry with clear spells and just isolated showers. Turning somewhat cloudier in the northwest later. Lowest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees in a light southwest breeze.
Saturday: “Remaining mostly dry on Saturday with sunny spells and isolated light showers. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in a light to moderate westerly breeze.
Saturday night: “Largely dry but becoming cloudier from the south overnight with light rain and drizzle developing in the southwest by morning. Clear spells will persist in northern areas but some mist and fog will form there in a light variable breeze.
“Lowest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees, mildest in the south. There is some uncertainty in the forecast for the rest of the August Bank Holiday weekend.”
The Met Eireann forecast ends: “Current indications suggest that Sunday will be a cloudier day with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, though the northern half of the country may be drier with sunny spells possible. Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees in a light easterly breeze.”
