Met Eireann change weather forecast as experts warn 'make the most of this week'

A big change is set to hit once this week ends
Met Eireann have updated their weather forecast as the public are warned to “make the most of this week” before the weather makes a drastic change at the end of September.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with mist, fog and drizzle in the south as rain will slowly move into parts of Ulster and Connacht across the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures of around 22C will drop to as low as 7C overnight with a band of heavy rain coming to the north and east.
Here’s what Met Eireann is forecasting for the next few days and nights:
Overview: “Mixed for the rest of the week, with rain or showers at times. Daytime temperatures in the mid to high teens.”
Tuesday night: “The band of rain and drizzle will move eastwards across the country tonight, heaviest and most persistent in the north and later the east. Clear spells and isolated showers will extend from the northwest to most areas overnight and temperatures will fall to between 7 and 11 degrees, but cloud and patchy rain will linger in the southeast and temperatures here will not fall below 13 to 15 degrees. Patches of mist and fog will form in light and variable winds.”
Wednesday: “Mist and fog will clear tomorrow morning, as will any lingering cloud and patchy rain in the southeast. Isolated showers will develop in places, but otherwise it'll be dry with sunny spells and light winds. Highest temperatures of 14 to 19 degrees, mildest in the southeast.”
Wednesday night: “Dry with clear spells at first, but cloud will increase overnight and patches of light rain or drizzle will develop in the west and northwest. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with a moderate southerly breeze developing.”
Thursday: “It will be a breezy day with a fresh and gusty southerly wind. Most areas will be dry at first with occasional sunshine, but there'll be patchy rain and drizzle in the west and northwest and also some drizzle towards the south coast. The rain will slowly move eastwards across parts of Ulster, Connacht and Munster during the afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees.”
