VERDICT DUE IN COUNCILLOR MICHAEL FAHY APPEAL

Galway County Councillor Michael Fahy will know later this morning if his challenge to his conviction for fraud and attempted theft has been successful.The 56 year old from Ardrahan was jailed for a year and fined 75 thousand euro for misappropriating council funds and attempted theft at Galway Circuit Court.
