URGENT ALERT ISSUED FOR GAS COOKERS SOLD IN GALWAY

An urgent alert has been issued on four brands of gas cookers, including over 700 sold in Galway.The National Consumer Agency says there is a serious risk of carbon monoxide poisoning if the cookers are used incorrectly or if the grill door is closed during use.The affected brands are New World, Flavel, Leisure and Beko and 744 were sold in Galway.
