Student who recorded highest CAO points awarded University of Galway scholarship
She will be honoured at the University of Galway Excellence Scholarships Ceremony in November, where her academic success will be celebrated alongside other high achieving students from across the country
University of Galway’s newest student achieved the highest CAO points score among her cohort of 75 first-year pharmacy students - her reward: a prestigious scholarship.
Coláiste Naomh Cormac was delighted to congratulate their former student Jiani Guinan on receiving this scholarship in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement.
Jiani, who is currently studying Pharmacy at the University of Galway, is the recipient of the only Excellence Award within the Pharmacy programme, making this a particularly significant accomplishment.
The University of Galway Excellence Scholarships recognise exceptional academic performance among incoming undergraduate students. This year, 50 students from 40 secondary schools nationwide will receive the award, which includes a scholarship valued at €1,200 and formal recognition at a special awards ceremony on campus.
Jiani will be honoured at the University of Galway Excellence Scholarships Ceremony in November, where her academic success will be celebrated alongside other high achieving students from across the country.
Everyone at Coláiste Naomh Cormac extends their warmest congratulations to Jiani and her family on this wonderful recognition and wishes her continued success in the years ahead.
