Burst tyres are becoming more frequent as a result of worsening road conditions in the county.Recent cutbacks in funding for road repairs mean the situation won't be getting any better soon.According to County Councillor Jim Cuddy, a vote was taken at council buildings last December and the technical coalition of Fine Gael, Sinn Féin and some Independents voted for the cut.But Councillor Cuddy says that he and other councillors are seriously worried about Galway County Council's cut in funding for road repairs. He says that this cut in funding will cost the council more in the long run.
