UK TEAM BEGIN PREPARATORY CAVE DIVE IN GORT

The Gort cave rescue operation for Polish diver Artur Kozlowski is not expected to be complete until tomorrow afternoon at the earliest.
The 33 year old Polish native was found dead inside Pollonora Cave near Kiltartan on Tuesday evening.
A specialist UK team arrived in Galway late last night and are due to begin their preparatory dive in the next hour.
The recovery dive will then take place tomorrow afternoon.
Gardai say the 3 person specialist team have to navigate a series of dangerous underground passages and that their safety will be paramount.
