UHG INFECTIOUS DISEASES CLINIC TO EXPAND

Plans to expand the infectious diseases clinic at University Hospital Galway have been given the green light.Galway city council has granted The Health Services Executive West permission for 8 consulting rooms on the Newcastle road.The HSE says the 2 storey extension is needed to alleviate overcrowding and cramped conditions at the existing clinic.The development will consist of 4 examination rooms, 3 encounter rooms and 1 pain clinic office.
