TWO IN COURT OVER ALLEGED WEEKEND CAR THEFT

Two city men appeared in court last evening over an alleged car theft in the Rahylin Glebe, Ballybane area this weekend.
The men, both with city addresses, are aged 19 and 20.
They were arrested on Sunday morning shortly after 7 in the Lurgan Park, Renmore area and detained at Galway Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
They were remanded to appear before the court again in the coming weeks.
