Two Galway farmers shortlisted for national title

Two County Galway dairy farmers have been shortlisted in the 2013 National Dairy Council and Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards.
Thomas Mahon from Geeha North in Kinvara and Gerard Murphy from Cahermaculick in Shrule are two of fourteen national finalists.
Thomas Mahon supplies milk to Arrabawn co-op, and Gerard Murphy supplies Aurivo Co-operative Society.
The winner will be chosen on October 21st, and the winning farmer will receive €5000 and the NDC and Kerrygold Quality Milk Awards perpetual trophy.
