TWO GALWAY DEPUTIES TO CONTEST LABOUR CHAIR

Delegates to the Labour party conference in Galway this weekend will decide a three way contest for the chair of the party.

Colm Keaveney from Galway East, Derek Nolan from the Galway West constituency and Waterford TD Brian O' Shea will compete for the chair.

Almost 900 delegates will attend the Labour conference at NUI Galway from Friday to Sunday,which marks the centenary of its foundation.
