TULLY ROAD CRASH VICTIM NAMED AS LOCAL MAN MICHAEL FOLAN

The pedestrian who died after he was struck by a car in Tully last night has been named locally as local man Michael Folan
Michael, who was in his late 60s died after he was hit by a car while out walking close to Tully Church in Ballinahown at around 6:30.
It's understood he was a resident at a nursing home in Tully.
The driver of the car was uninjured in the incident.
Forensic Collision Investigators completed an examination of the scene at around 10 this morning, and the stretch of road re-opened shortly afterwards.
