TRIAL DATE FOR MONIVEA FIREARMS AND EXPLOSIVES CASE

The Special Criminal Court has fixed October 2nd 2012 to hear the trial of a Galway man charged with explosives and firearms offences.

47 year old Thomas Coffey of One Hundred Acres, Monivea, Athenry, is charged with the unlawful possession of an explosive substance - ammonium nitrate - at One Hundred Acres, Monivea on January 26th.He's also charged with the unlawful possession of a revolver and five rounds of ammunition at the same address on the same date.
