Threat to 15 jobs at city discount store

Galway Bay fm newsroom - The future of 15 jobs at Mr. Price discount store in Terryland is uncertain.

The company, which has leases for premises at Terryland and Westside, was informed that the landlord of the Terryland unit has gone into receivership.

The owner of Mr. Price says the bank claims that the lease for Terryland is therefore null and void.

Speaking on 'Galway Talks', owner of Mr. Price, Declan Crinion says the bank needs to negotiate with the discount store to save jobs.
