TEENAGE CYCLIST CRITICAL AFTER PARKMORE FALL

A 17 year old city man is in a critical condition in hospital after he came off his bike in the Parkmore area last night.

The teenager who is from the Headford Road area was cycling down the hill in Parkmore towards the Tuam Road when he lost control of his bicycle at around 10pm.

He was taken to University Hospital Galway where he is being treated for serious head injuries.
