An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny is giving his backing to a Galway city mother in a struggle against anti-social behaviour in her area.
Nora Walsh, who has lived at Munster Avenue for 53 years, says she sent a letter to Deputy Kenny asking for support with troublesome tenants.
The 74 year old says she and her family have been tormented due to constant noise and activity.
The carer looks after her daughter, who suffers from a rare condition called Rubinstein Taybi syndrome, and her husband who suffers from cancer.
She has now received a commitment from Enda Kenny that the situation will be investigated by Housing and Planning Minister, Willie Penrose.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm News, Nora Walsh says she's happy that An Taoiseach has acknowledged her plight
