SUBMISSIONS INVITED FOR PLANNED NEW GALWAY CONNEMARA ROAD

Planning for a new road linking Galway and Connemara has gone onto the next phase - which is to select the best route. Four public consultations about the route have taken place in recent days with the final one taking place in Rosmuc this week. The public is now entitled to make submissions about the routes that were on display during the public consultation, although it will more than likely be 2012 before real progress is made
