STATEMENT EXPECTED FROM GALWAY PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE DANA

Presidential candidate Dana is expected to make a statement today about her future in the race for the Aras.

The Claregalway resident has not been seen on the campaign trail since Wednesday night when she made her dramatic intervention at the end of the Prime Time debate.

She said allegations of a most untrue, malicious and vile nature had been made against a member of her family in an attempt to damage her.

She refused to go into detail.

But today an American based website has published claims relating to a family member.
